Acceptable Use Policy

Policy scope: These rules apply to SeaLink's model gateway, customer API keys, upstream provider AUPs, Singapore PDPA, and Computer Misuse Act requirements.

1. What you can do

SeaLink is built for legitimate business use: customer support bots, content generation, coding assistants, data analysis, retrieval-augmented generation, education, research.

2. What you cannot do (prohibited)

  • Illegal actsAny activity that violates the law of the user's or target market's jurisdiction, including copyright infringement, trade secret theft, unauthorized scraping, money laundering, sanctions evasion.
  • Content that harms othersChild sexual abuse material (CSAM), violent threats, suicide incitement, hate speech, harassment, non-consensual intimate content.
  • Deception & manipulationImpersonation, disinformation, political deepfakes, fake reviews, automated spam, captcha-bypassing bulk signups.
  • High-stakes automated decisionsMedical diagnosis, legal advice, credit decisions, immigration / hiring / admission decisions without qualified human review. Model output may assist but must not replace a human in the loop.
  • Security attacksGenerating malware, ransomware, exploits, credential stuffing tooling, DDoS / phishing infrastructure.
  • Adult content (default off)Pornographic and sexually explicit output is rejected by default. Academic research / fiction use cases may apply via compliance@sealink.asia, subject to upstream provider approval.
  • Upstream provider termsWhen you use SeaLink, the underlying upstream provider's AUP also applies. Links to Anthropic / OpenAI / Alibaba / ByteDance / Moonshot / DeepSeek / Zhipu AUPs are on /trust.

3. Reporting abuse

If you see violations, email abuse@sealink.asia with subject [AUP Violation]. We acknowledge within 24h and, once confirmed, suspend the offending account within 24–72h.

4. Enforcement

Violations may result in: warning → temporary suspension → permanent ban → reporting to the upstream provider → cooperation with law enforcement. We reserve civil and criminal remedies for serious violations.

5. Updates

Material updates are announced via /changelog and emailed to registered customers. Significant changes have a 30-day transition window.
